This list is more to benefit my own memory than anything else, I am often too preoccupied to recall things so while I have all of these titles in the forefront of my mind I thought it would be a good idea to make a note of them.
‘Pi’ - “When I was a little kid my mother told me not to stare into the sun.”
‘Primer’ - I used to despise science fiction when I was younger, but now as the years go on and I become less rational I’m starting to think there’s more importance in possibility than fact. (This film took me a fucking while to get my head around, it is full of technical scientific, technological and mathematical description and I have always been from the creative school of thought as opposed to the logical so it went over my head at first.)
‘Mary & Max’ - It broke my heart, but it was beautiful.
‘Across The Universe’ - Sometimes a girl just needs The Beatles and a great love story.
‘Metropolis’ - Dystopian and, in my opinion, unnervingly prophetic. Also, so much iconography relating to historic (not so) secret societies. For a film made in the ’20s it’s incredibly ‘out there’.
‘You And Me And Everyone We Know’ - I was happy that Miranda July translated as awkwardly as a filmmaker as she does a writer. It’s an honest kind of awkwardness, how everyone is. That said, I didn’t like ‘The Future’.
‘Waking Life’ - I can’t begin to explain the way this picture affected me without talking about something weird and personal, but everyone needs to watch it.

This afternoon turned out really well. (Taken with Instagram at The Dollhouse)
Anonymous asked: Do you have a valentine?
If this was sent back in February, when it was Valentine’s Day, then no.
When I was a kid - around 10 I guess - I had a crush on this kid and sent him a Valentine’s card every year for like 3 or 4 years and he absolutely hated me.
joshualapierre asked: Cooper's evil doppelganger leaves the lodge, possessed by BOB. The real Dale is stuck in the lodge. If you haven't seen Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me you should it explains a bit more about Cooper's fate.
I love talking to people about Twin Peaks.

Every morning needs to start like this. (Taken with instagram)
